Knowledge Exchange Architecture based on Web Services, Concept Maps and CmapTools

The paper introducing KEA can be found at CMC 2006. The following documentation can also be download in PDF format from KEA.pdf.

A Cmap Server supporting web services is now available for testing by public users. The address of the server is cmapskea.ihmc.us. In CmapTools you will find it under the name IHMC KEA WebServices for Testing by Public Users. The URL for the Cmap Web Service (WSDL) running on this server is http://cmapskea.ihmc.us/services/CmapWebService.

This server also provides the Layout Web Service (WSDL) in the following URL: http://cmapskea.ihmc.us/services/LayoutWebService. Even though these URLs are HTTP URLs, you cannot use them in a browser, because the web services are expecting a SOAP request in the body of the HTTP request, and if you do use them in a browser you will get a 404 HTTP error.

CXL: Concept Mapping Extensible Language

CXL is a publicly available XML-based language for describing the content of Cmaps.
